Letter from Teddy 2-21-12

Below are some excerpts from Teddy's latest letter.  As you can see, she is flourishing!

 

Mommy and family!!!!!!!

Aloha from the MTC! I love you so so so so much. Just want you to know that I am alive and that I am loving my life!  I want to tell you some important things before I forget or run out of time! Dear Elder really is the best way to go while we're in the MTC. You'll just need to know my mission and mailbox number (#201) and I think you need my departure date (March 6th).  I just know that I'll be able to really convey what is happening in my written letters. We're doing our laundry right now and the Elders are pretty crazy so it's hard to focus. Please tell Sister Clyde thank you for the Krispy Kremes and tell Lodema thank you so much for the letter. I never realized how much missionaries love letters. I am now a believer.

More than anything please know that I know that this gospel is so true. The Lord is so merciful to us. I am so excited to go to Hawaii and feel of the healing power of the Atonement in people's lives.

How are you all? Please let me know how you are all doing. The first two days were very long and very difficult but each day gets better and better and faster and faster. I love you so so so so much. Remember the Lord in all things. He is the reason we are really all there.

 

My companion is amazing!!!! Sister Mallory is the sweetest sister and she is always teaching me so much. 

 

Travis:  The MTC is the best place ever! It is so hard and so amazing and so crazy and so sweet. The best thing you could do is study the scriptures and study Preach my Gospel. It is so powerful and you'll want to know it well. I wish I had done more to prepare.  Life is so good!

P.S. Sorry this was so crazy. I love you! Please keep going. Oh and Elder Streeter says Hi. And so does Elder Hunter (Wrenn Elkins little brother from Tennessee!!!!!! He's in my district) But mostly Elder Streeter says hi. Oh Elder Missionaries.
